MID (Motor Insurance Database) and Tower

Tower’s systems automatically update policyholders details overnight to the Motor Insurers Database (MID). If you have recently taken out a new policy or changed &/or added a vehicle to an existing policy please allow sufficient time for us to process the details which will then appear on MID.

If your details do not appear on the MID you will still be able to tax your vehicle in the normal manner by producing your Insurance certificate/covernote at your local post office.

We do not automatically update details for customers who have a Motor Trade or Motor Fleet policy, unless they have a UK registered vehicle.
